Operator

For barbershops and salons

Every call answered. Every open chair filled.

Operator answers your shop's phone and texts, quotes your real prices and hours, and books, moves, or cancels appointments on your real calendar. It picks up on the first ring at noon on a Saturday and at midnight on a Tuesday.

Incoming Call

Operator

Westside Barbers. This is the shop's automated assistant. We're closed right now, but I can still book, move, or cancel an appointment for you.

Caller

Any chance I can get in with Marcus this week? It's Dana.

Operator

Marcus has Thursday at 9:00 AM or Friday at 4:30 PM open. Want one of those?

Caller

Thursday. Book it.

Operator

Adult haircut with Marcus, Thursday at 9:00 AM, $35. Should I book it?

Caller

Yep.

Confirmation texted · On the book before the shop opened

Every time and price Operator quotes comes from your live calendar and price list, never from memory.

The calls a busy shop loses

11:08 PM

The after-close booking

Most people decide they need a haircut when your shop is closed. Operator books them on the spot, so the decision does not go to whoever answers first tomorrow.

2:15 PM

The mid-cut call

A busy shop answers the phone with scissors in hand or not at all. Operator takes the call, checks the book, and puts the appointment where it belongs, while your barbers keep cutting.

9:40 AM

The last-minute cancellation

When a slot frees up, Operator texts your waitlist while the slot is still worth something, instead of leaving a hole in the day.

How It Works

01

It learns your shop

Operator takes on your services, prices, barbers, and hours, and connects to your booking calendar. It quotes what you actually charge and offers times that are actually open.

02

It answers like your front desk

Callers hear a warm voice that knows the shop. Regulars get greeted by name and offered their usual barber. Every booking is read back and confirmed before it is written down.

03

You see everything it does

A daily report shows every call, every booking, and every message taken, including the ones it could not handle. Anyone who asks for a person gets a person.

House Rules

Built cautious on purpose. These are not settings. They are how Operator is made.

No. 1

Nothing gets booked without a yes.

Operator reads every appointment back and waits for the caller to agree before it touches the calendar. Availability is re-checked at the moment of booking, so two callers can never land in the same chair.

No. 2

It never takes a card number by voice.

If payment details come up, Operator sends a secure link by text so the customer types their card into a payment page, not into a phone call.

No. 3

It says what it is.

Operator introduces itself as the shop's automated assistant, and hands the call to a person whenever the caller wants one.

No. 4

Texts follow the rules.

Booking confirmations and reminders go only to people who booked with the shop, quiet hours are respected, and every message says how to opt out. Reply STOP to end texts, HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
